Kahina Giving Beauty Eye Cream

I really believe in eye creams. I tell my clients that if they're only going to use one thing it'd better be sun protection. If they're looking for a simple two step routine that second step has to be eye cream. The eye area is so delicate that I feel it should always be pampered. For myself my particular concerns are dryness and darkness. Being in my late 20s as well anti-aging is pretty high on the list too.

Kahina's Eye Cream is something I've been itching to try. It's one of the few eye creams out there that doesn't have Chamomile in it. Which is great as I'm totally allergic to it. Hives around the eyes aren't particularly cute. Anyways, what it does have in it is lovely though. Argan oil, Vitamin E and Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), green and white teas and North Atlantic sea fennel are just some of the highlight ingredients. It's a great light textured cream that has a light fresh scent and absorbs super quick.

Kahina's website states that these will help to :
• Enhance moisture retention while boosting collagen production

• Stimulate microcirculation to decrease puffiness and dark circles
• Soothe and relax muscles around the eyes to reduce the appearance of fine lines
• Fight free radicals that contribute to cellular damage and aging

What I can tell you from personal experience is that I notice a huge difference in the puffiness of my eyes as well as my dark circles. I stopped using it for two weeks to see if it was all in my head or not and let me tell you that it was most certainly not. When your coworkers ask if you're feeling all right your eye area is too dark. If you need even more dark circle fighting action try layering La Bella Figura's Decouverte Under Eye Repair Serum on the skin first and following it with the Kahina Eye Cream. It really gives dark circles the one two punch!

  1. I can't wait for my LBF eye serum to arrive... My plan is, once I've tried LBF and tested whether it's enough to keep my eye area from looking crepe-like by midday, I'll decide whether to repurchase Skin Apotheke's Rejuvenating Eye Creme (which I really love yet my Mom had officially usurped) or give Kahina a try. :)

    1. The LBF I find is very moisturizing and helps with crepe like texture. I find though I have to wait quite a bit before apply any kind of concealer on top of it.

    2. Mind sharing why? Is it because it's too 'oily'?
Does it help with dark circles?

    3. It's great for dark circles! I find that it can be a little too "slick" with some concealers because it's a blend of oils. I've found that the tiniest bit goes a long way under the eyes.

    4. oh, i think I now understand what the 'slick' is all about. I sometimes go crazy with oils and when I first got LBF Decouverte, I rolled it all over my eye area which not only made my concealer melt later on but also irritated my eyes. But so far, I'm loving it in terms of keeping my eye are moisturized :)

  2. I find a lot of eye creams help with puffiness but I haven't found anything that's made much of a difference for dark circles. This sounds lovely :)

    1. The combo of Kahina + LBF serum is the best I've found for dark circles so far. I find it to be better than my old standby of 100% pure coffee bean eye cream. It seems to be tricky in natural and organic products to find an effective eye cream for dark circles. But I'm always on the hunt ! =)
